Fendt in steel blue – a trade fair attraction
The greatest excitement was generated by a Vario 936 featuring a customised design: the steel blue paint job as well as the diverse custom chrome parts of the Design Line version underscored the unique character of the 900 Varios once more. The Design Line offers four different special paint jobs with just as many colour choices for the rims and custom chrome parts. The largest tyres available on the tractor market also contributed to making the 936 Vario the main attraction of the trade fair.
The hydropneumatic independent wheel suspension paired with the Fendt Stability Control system (FSC) is a milestone in driving safety and ride comfort. A display model of the independent wheel suspension, which was constantly in movement, vividly demonstrated the system’s long suspension travel, so that visitors were able to judge the added comfort for themselves.
The keyword is versatility
The trade visitors clearly placed emphasis on versatile solutions for all areas of application. The compact and lightweight Fendt tractors, which can be loaded with additional weight to meet specific needs, are perfect, versatile partners. Fendt also places a high value on additional equipment such as front linkage and a front PTO.
As a universal tool, the new Fendt CARGO front loader series provides additional application options. During the five days of the trade fair, visitors were able to test the exceptional operating comfort of the CARGO, which was mounted on a 415 Vario and featured automatic CARGO Lock, a maintenance-free mounting system and a standard specification multi-coupler. Now many visitors are even thinking of switching to Fendt for the front loader system alone.
Small but powerful
The Fendt 200 with front axle suspension offers comfort, stability and operational reliability. The visitors to the EIMA International were able to experience this live thanks to a front axle simulator. Special sensors connected to the testing system delivered scientific results that were displayed graphically on a monitor. For most though, simply seeing the Fendt 208 V turn from a “hopping” machine into a stable and safe tractor as soon as the front axle suspension was activated was enough.
Of course, trade fairs are not only about presenting innovative technology; many visitors seized the opportunity to talk with the dealers and employees of the Italian Subsidiary Fendt Italiana. At the Fendt Shop, visitors were able to purchase souvenirs from a large selection of Fendt articles.
