The new 800 Vario tractors from 180 to 260hp are squarely aimed at heavy duty applications and offer increased chassis weight to boost traction and put power on the ground.
At the heart is the Vario transmission, with a new drive train for the rear axle, including a wet multi-disc brake, giving effective deceleration while minimising losses.
Stepless Vario drive offers continuously variable speeds to 60kph. It also works in conjunction with Variotronic TI headland management and Vario TMS to ensure the most efficient use of fuel and operator time.
The six-cylinder Deutz engine uses Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) technology, working in conjunction with a common rail high pressure injection system with optimised injectors and a new turbocharger to offer fuel savings of up to five per cent.
A new front axle suspension system, more powerful brakes and the Fendt Stability Control (FSC) ensure comfort and safety to the top speed of 60kph.
